Cuisine::pro® Damashiro EMPEROR® 6.5" Cleaver Knife

The hammered tsuchime cleaver knife is designed for jobs that benefit from a broad, sturdy blade and steady control. It is well suited to breaking down larger cuts of meat, working through poultry joints and chopping dense vegetables.

Yes. This cleaver knife is a great choice for dense vegetables where you want a confident chop, and it also handles protein prep like larger cuts of meat and poultry joints.

On this cleaver knife, Damascus-inspired refers to the decorative look, not a specific claim about steel layers. The hammered tsuchime finish adds texture and a striking visual style inspired by traditional Japanese knife aesthetics.

A broad blade gives you more surface area and a strong, stable feel on the cutting board. It can make it easier to tackle bigger ingredients and guide the knife through heavier chopping tasks.

This cleaver knife features a dark walnut pakkawood handle designed to feel secure and comfortable during prep. If you prefer a substantial, steady grip for chopping and breakdown work, the handle shape and material will likely feel reassuring in hand.
